I love the way it chops the paper (crosscut)...but it isn't very powerful. It bogs way down with 3 to 5 pages...almost to a jam. Has a tough time with Credit Cards. I would recommend for very light office shredding but the way mine runs, I don't anticipate it lasting very long.

Since my purchase this shredder has been very easy to use and has far exceded my expectations.

It jammed with the plastic credit card that came in the mail with credit application. Since I don't have any paperwork on it - I'm screwed! I might buy it again though since it seems to handle multiple pieces of paper pretty well. I would have liked to have known whether or not it took plastic cards before I tried it! Had to junk it!

This paper shredder struggled to handle two sheets and became jammed when I tried to shred three at once. I had to throw it away after only one week because the configuration of the paper entry made it impossible to clear the jammed paper.
