Mahal is a Hebrew akronym for "Volunteers From Outside Israel". Mahal was established in 1948 by the thousands of volunteers who came to defend the new born State of Israel - and is today a legend. To these days, Jews from around the world volunteer to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), followed by Jewish and Zionist work in their country of origin. 50 years after the establishment of Mahal, a group of idealists under the lead of Avi Naor founded the Mahal2000 non-profit organization to help today's volunteers. If you are a young Jewish idealist, Mahal2000 is your address. Email: mail@mahal2000.com Phone: +972-52-446688 Fax: +972-151-52-446688 Office: Mahal2000, attn.
