University Study in IsraelUndergraduate/Year Abroad Programs1. Bar Ilan University Bar Ilan University seeks to blend Jewish tradition with modern technology and scholarship. One-year program students can take yeshiva classes in the morning and university classes in the afternoon so students do not have to make a choice between one or the other. Bar Ilan's 70 acre campus in Ramat Gan has the largest Jewish studies facility in the world. The Torah V'Derech Eretz Program combines classical Torah studies with a typical first-year academic college course load for freshmen. Students in this program spend the morning immersed in torah study, learning shiurim taught exclusively for overseas students and in the afternoons, participate in a Hebrew ulpan and general academic courses.Contact: One Year Program Office, Bar Ilan University, 52100 Ramat Gan.
