K'Cholmim is very proud to present:
The Teachings of HaRav Avraham Yizhak HaCohen Kook - Eretz Yisrael

Part of the "Lights on Orot" series, commentary by HaRav David Samson and Tzvi Fishman

1. Introduction and Chapter One of Orot

HaRav Avraham Yizhak HaCohen Kook was one of the foremost Torah scholars in recent history. Serving as first chief rabbi of what was to become the Modern State of Israel, Rav Kook's effect on the Jews living in Eretz Yisrael and his legacy are still felt most profoundly by Jews in Israel and the galut. His book "Orot" was considered to be one of the masterpieces of his private thoughts, philosophy, and understanding of Torah. An extremely difficult book to understand, HaRav David Samson and Tzvi Fishman have now taken a great step towards making available this giant of Torah to the English speaking world. May we see the finale of Kibbutz Galuyot (the ingathering of the exiles) in the merit of HaRav Kook and his Torah. Ken Yehi Razon.

Once again, K'Cholmim would like to thank our webmaster Grigoriy Titiyevky for his hard work as he creates these files for downoad of the book Orot. We have received permission from Tzvi Fishman direclty to create these files. If you are going to post them elsewhere, please make us aware, as it takes Greg many hours of hard work to make this Torah available to all of you.

Last, but certainly not least, K'Cholmim would like to offer a hearty thank you to Tzvi Fishman for his allowing us to post this co-work of his. It is truly a great honor to us that he allows us to help spread his and Rav Samson's wonderful Torah, and of course, the Torah of HaRav Avraham Yizhak HaCohen Kook.

As always, your feedback and comments are welcome.
